To ensure adequate power, generator has been installed in the college as stand by. It enables the students to access computer lab, LCD, OHP facilities etc. without any hindrances.
The college has internet connectivity to a well known ISP that provides 24 hours services. Students are encouraged to explore and learn through net in a disciplined manner.
A variety of instrumental methods are followed to facilitate an integrated learning approach. The pedagogy includes lecture cum discussion, analysis and discussion of cases, seminars, self-learning, field visits, group projects, stimulation exercises and independent research. The actual mix varies with the nature of the course. Special emphasis is laid on imparting leadership and interpersonal skills to the students.
The college has tied-up with the nationalized banks, to facilitate the students with study loans. This facility is specially being made available to students, who are not able to pay a large amout of fees and have a desire to acquire higher education.
This scheme is for students who are merit holders and their family is not that much financially sound to promote them for studies. So college takes this initiative by giving them scholarships if they deserve it as it will help them to move a step towards bright future.
The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern multimedia equipment to facilitate effective learning. The classrooms are designed to promote maximum interaction between the faculty and students.
Computing facilities include student labs, group computing workstations and local area network. Students have access to Internet, communication softwares, instructional applications and various other data resources.
BIPS has a well-stocked library, which has latest books on computers, information technology, management and related subjects as well as professional magazines, journals and periodicals. It also maintains a collection of videos and CD’s, which are available to students for viewing in the library.
